Until 2012, the only engine available was a 3.8-liter V6 that produced 202 hp and 237 lb-ft of torque. 2012 on, the Used Jeep Wrangler come with a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Four-wheel drive is also standard and includes high- and low-range gearing. A Traction Control feature improves the driver’s ability to maintain control over their vehicle. Overall handling is further improved courtesy of an included Electronic Stability Control system. The vehicle’s responsiveness receives support from a Speed Sensing Steering feature.

The Used Wrangler’s Design

The current, third-generation Jeep Wrangler debuted for the 2007 model year. It’s larger and more refined than the previous generation. Styling is familiar, but although the standard Wrangler retains roughly the same short length as before, its increased width helps to improve passenger comfort. Up front you’ll find the classic round headlamps, Jeep’s seven-slot grille, and a front bumper with integrated fog lamps. The standard soft top is relatively easy to remove and install. In 2011, nearly every part of the Used Jeep Wrangler’s interior was updated, but you can still hose out the floors (the carpet is easily removed) after a day in the mud. Instrumentation is clean and simple, solid square buttons look good and are easy to understand and operate. Between the seats are the shift lever, a short four-wheel-drive lever, two cupholders, emergency brake handle, and a locking center console that’s wide and deep.
